IMPORTANT OUT OF CHARACTER!
---
Welcome to We Are Wild!
In the sea of Hoenn a well known city sits within the crater of a volcano, the eastern portion of the volcano underwater, allowing boats to come and go as they please. Sootopolis City has for a long time been known as a peaceful place where people enjoy visiting for vacations. However what they don't about is the wild factor. In the large city is a world few know about where you need to steal food to survive and, on most occasions, you'll need to fight someone who has an advantage over you. Your adventures will be different no matter who you are, a human or a pokémon. Sootopolis City may be a place where legends slumber but the elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light, and Darkness aren't going to go to sleep any time soon!
~~~
Where most Pokémon sites feature trainers traveling across a region We Are Wild shows us a different side of Pokémon! Where many things can happen, the wild life of Pokémon is where we're at. In particular the wild life of Sootopolis City where the many Pokémon groups tend to get into magor skirmishes. You can play either a Pokémon or a Human here in We Are Wild. In the Out Of Character realm many more things are there for you to do such as play games, compete in contest, and even buy caves (houses) for your wild pokémon. In Doom Den many plots are being thought up while in the General Board you can talk about things that don't have something to do with any other (sub-)board. Remember: in the wild no one tells you what to do; do what you want!
IMPORTANT IN CHARACTER!
Deep in the snowy regions of Hoenn evil is rising, icy hearts rising deep from underground. A whole new group of pokémon who aren't picked by their type. They are simply a group because of their similar hearts; colder than snow and more dangerous than and toxin.
Weather
After many days of intense hail apon the city, the Castform Covenant decided that their reasons had been long fulfilled, and the hail has stopped, the clouds vapourised to let the sun shine once more. Or at least, until natural circumstances returned, leaving snow to cover the city instead, as well as the rest of the island. Time for the wild pokémon to stock up the food, and the humans to keep inside where it's warm...and repair the smashed windows if you need to. ^^;;
{{You're fine, Ex. =3}}
Quill, although still somewhat reluctant, seemed to be more willing to involve herself.
Looking at Storm, listening to his question thoughtfully, turned her steel blue gaze to Blade, regarding him with a slightly suspicious eye. If wilds were truly as badly off as everyone seemed to believe, and Blade wasn't the healthiest weight a scyther could be, why would he reject a mountain of sweets?
"Blade..."
Underneath the patience, there was an undertone of concern and question, and as Quill kneeled next to him, she sharply took in any detail that would hint as to what the trouble was. Not being around scyther's very often, it was difficult to come up with a reasonable explanation on the spot.
"Why aren't you eating anything? If you don't like it, I'm sure we can ask Miss Disasol's brother for some other food you'll eat. You need to regain your strength."
Waving said fae goodbye, thanking her for her kindness, the fluffy zangoose returned to the current dilemma. Turning to Storm, as she seemed to in any complication, Quill smiled softly at his valiant attempt to hide his insecurity. Petting him lightly, being sure to show her appreciation in non-verbal ways, it did much to reassure the unsure healer.
Who knew how comforting Drifloon were?
" If nothing else. Loss of blood, when coupled with possible infection, often lead to fevers. With intense paranoia, or even something as mild as fear, and high enough temperatures- I'm sure he'll be fine though. Heh,"
Chuckling darkly at the thought, remembering many a time where severe injuries lead to high fevers and eventual dillusions and hallucinations, imagining the monsters of nightmares and creatures of shadow looming ever closer, their mocking scorn and jeering laughter pounding louder than your rapidly beating heart as the world seemed to become smaller and darker, no place to hide, no place to run, just unblinking black...
Shuddering it off discretely, glad for the cloak of light gray fur that hid small discomforts, Inferno continued on, a bit more indiffirently than before.
"You've got that right- humans are the scum of the earth. They're pushing too far into pokemon territory... Quite soon, if a stand is not made, then there will be nothing left. Of course, these are just a few points I've seen on my travels."
Thankful for Fang's tactness, preferring not to have his life's story shouted out to every pokemon, especially not the catty Princess who seemed to be following them out of boredom and some sort of safeguard from attack, Inferno swiped at a flower underfoot, watching the petals scatter in a soft breeze.
Feeling a bit reassured, Storm calmed down a bit, sighing. At least everything seemed a bit calmer than it had before. He hoped Quill would calm down as well, and Blade too...
At hearing Quill's comment, Blade looked up unsteadily, regarding Quill with yet another confused gaze. Only half conscious, he didn't seemed to have heard her clearly. Noticing this, Storm flew over to the bowls of food and pulled quite a few of them in front of Blade. "Look," he said, "Food!" To Storm's annoyance, Blade hadn't even noticed, and was still looking confused. Sighing, he held one of the pokéblocks right in front of Blade's face.
"Come on!" he told Blade, "There's a lot!" He pushed all the bowls closer to Blade, though all together it was far too much for any one pokémon Blade's size to eat. As if noticing the food for the first time, Blade glanced at Quill once more before starting to eat. This seemed to make him realize how hungry he was, and soon he was already finished with one of the bowls Storm had brought him. "Well...uh...I'm not sure what was wrong..." Storm told Quill, "But he was close to passing out..." Glancing back at Blade, Storm noticed he was still eating, though a bit too quickly, but at least he was eating. "I wonder where Princess and those others went..." Storm wondered aloud, glancing around at the area.
"Huh..." Fang mumbled in response, "Blade's had fevers before, so if that's what it is..." her voice trailed off as she glared back at Princess. "Get lost!" she growled, and the delcatty quickly ducked out of sight. Turning around with a growl, she replied to Inferno's next statement.
"You're right about that...someone has to take a stand...the question is, how?" She cast a troubled glance back at the daycare building, then beyond it, at the city. She knew that humans cared nothing for wild pokémon-no human was helping Blade after all, they only cared about the pokémon they had captured and trained, or kept as pets, and all the others could die for all they cared. In a soft whisper, Fang added, "All I know is that whenever someone finds out how to make a stand...I'll be there..."
