The trek from the scarred, burning sample of the streets to the pokemon centre could have been a lot harder to endure. It took a couple minutes to get there, even though if it were just Ernie by himself, it would have took seconds.
It was just the Sandslash he was assisting that made it less easy. Battered by hail, and quite possibly scarred and oozing blood from the conflict of just beforehand, a very battle-torn Sandslash was joining the Flareon as they pushed through the doors into the building, which was already pretty full from retreating humans trying to escape the onslaught of the weather that was chipping away at the city. Many of them gasped in shock as they entered, instantly staining the carpet from the remains of the fight, and moving toward to the desk, looking up to catch a glimpse of a nurse who would more than likely be there. Even if the centre was busy treating others, a Sandslash without its claws must surely grab the priority..

Teddy stumbled, almost falling onto his nearly non-existent knee he moaned in pain, blood dripping in front of the desk. He looked up over the counter to see if there was perhaps a doctor, a nurse, hell even a cashier would help right now. He stood leaning on the wall, his battered body bleeding from a few places, he coughed up a little blood.
"Please... help me..." He moaned, barely standing.

Amid the gasping and sympathetic winces, a melodic giggle seemed to waft from the pokecenter door.
Leaning against the door frame, the delicate sleeve of her frosty kimono pulled up over her mouth, the frosslass’ harmonious laughter continued to overpower the gasps. Letting out a final chuckle, still obviously enjoying herself, the ice sprite opened her icy blue eyes and merrily looked at both Quave and Ernie. Lowering her sleeve, and tilting her head to the side, a sweet- yet still slightly acidic- smile spoke the words she didn’t need to say.
Gracefully floating towards the pair, the ends of her ghostly garment elegantly twisting in the air, the frosslass paused and ‘knelt’. Leaning forward and giving the bloody sandslash a cold hug, the icicle damsel kissed his forehead.
Neither action was very warm… In fact, it was downright freezing. A thin layer of ice covered her blue lips as a sultry smile was directed toward the fire-type.
“Aww… Poor Baby.”
Still holding Teddy in a firm embrace, Succubus slowly began rocking back and forth.
“Nightmare beat you pretty well, didn’t he?”

Teddy blinked, not really understanding what was happening. He winced a little from the pain in his leg. "He got me, but I sure as hell got him back, and who are you?" He shuddered from her icy hug as he attempting to wriggle away, only hurting his leg more. He blinked again still really confused as to why this icy girl was giving him kisses and hugs...

Ernie didnt even need to leap onto the counter and ask or threaten the nurse or whoever happened to be there to give help, since the attention had already convinced the nurse to step in, heading for the Sandlash to take somewhere to fix him up, in whatever methodology they chose to use. Ernie had no clue how it was done, but no matter what went in, a perfect copy would always seem to leave, as if it were some form of modern Asclepion. Much as he felt he was tolerating humanity, he had to give them some credit and respect for some things. And hopefully the chaos of the hail would overshadow the mischeif his elemental group often got into around the city...
Mostly thoughts in any case, and mostly before the Frosslass made her entry. Well, at least theres something that would be able to frolic and enjoy the hail's mayhem besides the castform who amplified it. The tears and shock of the people did clash with the laughter, almost bringing them down to silence, leaving just those who wished to speculate to talk within themselves. The flareon was not feeling quite as intimidated, though, and with such comments from the Ice-type, he had little choice but to respond. Too bad the people wouldnt be able to understand it mostly...
"They both fought hard, Nightmare's in a pretty bad state too, if thats his name..." The Flareon stepped back to let the Nurses take Teddy up behind the counter to treat. "I'm guessing you knew him? He broke off from the battle without any reason, grabbed an injured pokemon at the sidelines and rushed off into the bloody distance. Whats all that about? I don't see what he'd want her for, or why she'd fight so harsh to get it..."

“I’m sure you will, Hun. It seemed like you were able to cripple him well.”
Noting Teddy’s recoiling, a cold glimmer reflected off her frozen eyelashes as she pulled back, keeping the too-sweet smile on her blue lips. Ignoring Teddy’s other question, the frosslass switched her icy blue gaze onto Ernie as she smoothed the stiff ends of her kimono. The Sandslash was being taken away to be treated anyway, so he needed to keep his mind clear.
“Mhhm.”
The icicle damsel nodded, toying with the ice that had formed at the bottom of her ghostly garment and, keeping her hand hidden in the sleeves, rolling it into a ball. Absorbed in the action, and ignoring the humans around them, Succubus finally let out a sigh.
“More’s the pity…”
Whatever she’d been thinking of must’ve been sad.
“The scyther’s a she…”
Muttered under cover of a sigh, and in a quieter voice than the silky tone she used when addressing the other pokemon, the frosslass cradled the ball in her sleeves.
“Nightmare? Mmm… Do I know a nightmare? I know mine, but not yours… Not that I know you very well… ”
Giving Ernie another sultry smile, still coated in ice, a merry twinkle sparkled off the ice as she kept a cryptic demeanor. Rolling the ball toward Ernie, Succubus folded her hands on her lap primly as she innocently watched him.
“Why would anyone fight so hard?”
The ball seemed to be picking up an unnatural amount of speed…

Teddy watched as the snowball picked up speed, still keeping his eyes on Succubus and Ernie at the same time though, he didn't really want to miss out on any important information. Like he knew what was going on. He was about to open his mouth and say something, well, anything he really could other than questions, before being picked up from behind and taken into the arms of a nurse, he winced as she caught his leg with her arm. He let out a little moan of pain as he winced, still watching the pair of pokemon and the snowball, before being whisked away.

Not whisked away too far though. After all, most of the equipment and expertise that they required was out in the open of the room for use, and the Sandslash was simply taken up behind the counter, as the people behind it started to apply the various treatments and the like that worked their magic. Sight would only show the humans, but the talk of the Flareon and Frosslass would be relatively clear, esspecially among the silenced, even dispersing crowds.
"I don't know. Sometimes not much effort is needed." The Flareon responded as he looked up to Succubus, and just after, softly blew a funnel of flame from between his charred fangs, which slowly corroded the ball of ice down to a small puddle of sludge. He had his suspicions, and was hardly in a mood to play Marbles or whatever such a pokemon might have in mind. "You clearly knew him though. What was he so eager to acheive? Snatching half-dead pokemon is hardly the more understandable forms of mischeif..."

Giving Teddy that too-sweet smile, Succubus unfolded her hands long enough to wave at him as he was taken away. It wasn’t too far, but he wasn’t within hugging range. Turning her attention back to Ernie, the cryptic gleam returned to her eyes as her snowball was engulfed in the flame.
“Perhaps…”
Toying with some more ice, the frosslass rolled this one into another ball- opting instead to roll this one around in circles with her sleeve. Keeping the frosty blue of her eyes on the untainted sphere, the icicle damsel giggled to herself.
“Is it?”
Never giving Ernie a direct answer seemed to be a game she was enjoying. Repeating what he was saying or posing yet another question, Succubus was enjoying herself immensely. Discretely lifting her sleeve to her mouth, the childish action hid the sinister intent behind it. Rubbing the crimson rouge that had stained her lips, Succubus shrugged once more, hiding behind her frozen sleeve.
“Mhm.”

It wasn't too hard for Ernie to tell that it was going nowhere either, and he wasn't too bothered on the whole. He didn't need to know any of these answers; he knew that they already had a good lead towards where Nightmare had headed to with the Scyther. He didn't even need to follow any of these creatures, he could just go back and see to Fire-Bird again. It was just some curiousity that caught him and made him want to see.
He'd find out what they were up to, sooner or later. Having this Frosslass here was just an opportunity that could have gone his way, though since it wasn't, all that really came to concern was the Sandslash behind the counter, having its miracle treatment. At least Succubus wasn't interfering with that. The Flareon leapt up onto the counter, seeing them working on Teddy behind, and the Frosslass from a better angle.
"So what do you want here?"
(Being under treatment, Quave's gonna let us carry on for a while before he comes back in, so go ahead. =))

Softly echoing his question, Succubus’ sultry demeanor was completely dropped as she lapsed into an uncomfortable silence. Holding the snowball to her chest, the cryptic gleam was gone from her icy eyes as a very confused glimmer replaced it. Looking quite lost for a moment, the frosslass didn’t answer.
It was never in anyone’s habit of asking her what she wanted…
Crushing the ball between her sleeves, allowing the powder to pile up on the ground, the icicle damsel gently blew. Sparked to life with her frost breath, the snow swirled around in a surreal dance- as Succubus silence lingered on.
Raising her troubled gaze to Teddy, still undergoing treatment, and resting it on Ernie- she shrugged. Letting the ghostly folds of her garment swirl with miniature snow storm, Succubus kept quiet a moment longer, replying with a soft,
“I don’t know… I really just came here to check on you both…”
The first direct answer she had given him all day!

"Well, thats real nice of you." The flareon replied back to the Froslass, though not with any appreciation or real emotion, more of an acknoledgement if anything. He didn't beleive that the Froslass really only came in curiousity or care, but if she wasn't going to get in their way, then there was no issue. Not yet anyway.
Ernie turned back, leaping back up onto the counter, to check back on how the Sandslash was doing, though the nurses taking care of him obscured any view of how they were doing. He couldn't see the broken claws being fixed, but at least the pain would be releived at least. He looked swiftly around the room, and again, the Froslass still appeared as the only immediate threat, assuming something was up with the creature. He remained on the desk, and kept an eye on her, to see what she would do.

Snapping back to her previous stated of being, those foreign feelings disappearing like puffs of breath in the winter, Succubus dropped the snowball. Exploding into a flurry of white powder, a small smile etched across her pale face.
There were many things to do, and toying with Ernie wasn’t one of them.
Giggling in a noxiously sweet way, the Froslass floated up gracefully, the frozen ends of her kimono still moving gracefully. Putting her sleeve over her mouth in that child-like manor, her silky tone wasn’t muffled at all by the fosty garment. It was still as lucid as black ice.
“I see. You’ll want to even the score, I bet. After all, real men won’t take such an offense sitting down,”
Taking a rather low jab at them, Succubus continued on with no notice.
“If you’re looking for your Nightmare, you best follow him to a nightmarish realm.
“Acid pits, sleek snow, cold ice, what’s to know? The cold silence of death hangs around like a ghastly in the air, but that should be no problem by so bold a pair. Tribulations much, help very scarce, best pick up your bravest farce. Right what’s wrong, revenge most fair, before you too join the souls in the air.
“Don’t fear the reaper as much as his sickle.”
Finishing her cryptic rhyme, Succubus blew a kiss at the two as the doors swung open on their own. Barely passing the glass door threshold, a vicious wind flew in and picked up the snow still on the ground- bringing in quite a bit of hail in the process.
As Powder Snow was in full effect, the melodic giggle echoed in the frosty night.

Ernie replied with a very unsure voice as the Froslass departed from the building, but without any time or desire to continue what he was saying. The winds of the Powder Snow blew in strongly, and even though the Sandlash and his assistants were well sheltered, the Flareon had to grip tight to the secured desk, as a variety of notices that were once on the walls tore off their boards, and the people inside parted to the walls of the room, swiftly leaving as the gust died down. The Flareon's heat cut back the frostbite, though the attack still left its mark on himself, and the centre.
He didn't think too hard over what Succubus had said, since the prospect of acid pits alone sounded pretty scarce. He knew the path they would take, and doubted it could possibly lead anywhere too dangerous. If it was like she said, he knew that see everything before any harm could be done in any case. Looking back to the Sandslash, he spoke again. "Doing alright down there?"

(Semi-Triumphant return!)
The nurse had finished with Teddy, after only a short while, she walked back out into the poke center's reception putting him down next to Ernie who she supposedly saw as Teddy's companion.
Teddy was now bandaged up, his claws of course couldn't be fixed properly and would have to grow back, but the jagged remains were still on his hands. His knee was now patched up and fine, he could walk properly now. He turned to Ernie, and smiled "So what now? Wheres that Nidoking got to?"
